The client shall assist and cooperate with the photographer in obtaining the desired photographs, including but not limited to:
Specifying persons and/or scenes to be photographed; taking time to pose for photographs at the photographers discretion; attending a pre-shoot consultation if required; reading any information sent to the client by the photographer
(such as session preporation and information documents). Photographer shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result
of clients failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation.
The photoghrapher retains permanent copyright to any photographs taken.
The photographer may use images taken at your session for portfolio and networking purposes.
This includes (but is not limited to): The photographers website portfolio:
Business Facebook Page: The photographers portfolio album: Printed products and samples (both at the photographers studio and also to fill wall space with relevant associates
(including but not limited to: midwives, scanning clinics, business cards and printed information for clients) that the photographer uses to present their services. The client will be able to access and share these images as they so wish.
If your photographer uses your images on printed materials (such as business cards) they will endeavor to provide you with a physical copy to keep for your personal records/memory box.
Images the photographer posts online as a preview or blog must NOT be downloaded, screenshot, cropped or otherwise tampered with - to do so is breaching your contract and may
lead to the photographer taking further action. The images shared online are the final art piece created and are not to be edited or altered in any way by the client or the clients family/friends: This constitutes image theft and breach of copyright.
The actions the photographer may take includes (but is not limited to):
Termination of future sessions due to breach of copyright and contract/deletion of clients images from the photographers system due to cntract being terminated.
You are encouraged to share or tag Facebook images, which is in line with your contract, but these images remain the copyrighted
property of the photographer and are not to be tampered with.
The photographer retains copyright to the photographs, and hereby grants Client unlimited (but non-exclusive) rights to use or reproduce the digital photographs for which the client
purchases only. Purcahsed prints are not to be scanned or replicated, doing so is in breach of this contract agreement.
Photographs shall be delivered to the client in the form/ package arranged at the booking of session (or from gallery orders) The client will have full print release of images purchased after their session,
meaning they are able to reproduce these images in any format they wish for personal use (including: Prints, wall art, gifts, cards, online use, mobile phone cases and
any other printed goods for personal use).
Due to the nature of the product, digital images cannot be refunded once the client has left the gallery. Under no condition is the client allowed to edit, crop, filter or tamper with their purchased digital images, to do so is a breach of copyright.
The final are pieces created are a representation of the photographers work and must not be altered in any way. If you would like a photograph edited a certain way (ie black & white converstion of a colored image) please speak directly with the
photographer who will be able to assist you.
Any persons that starts a photography business within 12 months of attending of a session with MLB Photographic, will be liable to pay the photographer a training fee of £800. This includes anyone who came to the session alongside those being photographed.
